Project Description: Southern Stainless was engaged to fabricate and install LED downlight balustrades, stainless steel pile cladding, and a range of complex architectural elements for Cockle Bay Wharf in Darling Harbour.
This project required a high level of precision and craftsmanship, particularly in the integration of lighting within the balustrade system and the fabrication of curved seating arrangements. In addition to the primary balustrade works, numerous custom sub-structure brackets were designed and manufactured to support the installation.
All stainless steel components high quality 316 marine grade material. Stanchions were finished with a 600 grit fine satin polish and electropolished for durability, while the handrails were mirror polished and electropolished to achieve a premium architectural finish suited to a prominent waterfront environment.
