Capability Snapshot

Our CNC press brake delivers precise, repeatable bends across stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel components — from simple brackets to complex folded assemblies.

CNC-controlled multi-axis backgauge for precise positioning

High repeatability for production runs

Tight tolerance bending for precision-critical components

Clean, consistent angles and radii

Integrated with in-house cutting and fabrication

Advanced CNC Bending Capability

Our folding capability is powered by the Amada HRB1003 — a high-performance CNC press brake engineered for precision, control, and repeatability. With 100-ton capacity and a 3-metre bending length, it delivers consistent, tight-tolerance results across both prototypes and production runs.

CNC multi-axis backgauge positioning and programmable bend sequencing ensure accurate angles, clean lines, and repeatable outcomes — particularly suited to assembly-critical and engineering-driven components.

Materials folded in-house include:

  • Stainless steel

  • Mild steel

  • Aluminium

We support complex multi-bend parts, structural components, architectural features, and marine applications. From flat sheet to precisely formed component, our CNC bending capability underpins complete fabrication solutions delivered at our Gold Coast facility.

CNC Press Brake vs Conventional Folding

CNC press brake technology delivers greater accuracy, repeatability, and control than conventional manual folding. By removing operator variability, it ensures tighter tolerances and consistent results — particularly for precision and assembly-critical components.

How CNC Folding Works

The Amada HRB1003 uses CNC control to precisely position material via a programmable backgauge system. Hydraulic force is applied through precision tooling to achieve accurate angles and repeatable bends. Digital control ensures consistency across prototypes and production runs, reducing errors and setup time.

Each bend is carefully calculated based on material type, thickness, and geometry, allowing complex multi-bend sequences to be executed with minimal adjustment. This precise coordination between tooling, backgauge, and CNC programming ensures structural integrity, clean lines, and tight tolerances, even on demanding stainless steel, aluminium, or mild steel components.
